History

Trio Solution started in 1994 as a simple comic in a neighborhood magazine I made. Basically, a bunch of kids, including myself, founded a club like so many kids do. The comic was about a neighborhood friend and myself, and occasionally my brother. The stories were nothing but incoherent gags about how cartoon characters escape into the real world.

Since we were having all these adventures, but no premise, the gang became FBI agents, unaware of what FBI agents really are, it stayed this way for quite some time. Shortly after that, the main characters were re-named to Borie, Jorie and Korie Bluff. The series' name was changed to Trio Oplossing, which is Dutch for Trio Solution. It was based on the notion that our three heroes could solve everything.

From that point, the series developed to what it is now. Anton Rights was added, Professor Duts, who first appeared in one of the Sjaki comics with a seriously oversized head, was re-introduced, and Evelyne DeLiefde debuted in a short, annoying Korie with her long phone calls.

I've tried to start the actual series several times, but it never got off the ground, especially when I started to draw fanart. That time is over since I've already written a good storyline.

About Trio Solution now

This page will be updated as soon as the premise has been reveiled in the featured comic.
